  1. Thanks Shane.

You are right, ANACS 63. I bet you donated it to Jeremy's charity auction.

I bid crazy money because of the reverse and the great cause.

It has a nice tone for an Indian cent.

Honestly I don't remember what I did with it as far as donating or selling or what but I agree it's a very colorful coin with a lot of eye appeal. The pictures you posted look identical to the one's I originally took when I received the coin so I had to do a double take lol

  2. A few came in the mail today.......

Took a shot on this one becuase the sellers image of the obverse wasn't good so I was hoping the obverse would look similar to the reverse but it's dark and has prints.....if ever a coin deserved a dip it's this one but hey.....it's certainly original

  3. Shane tell me that coin wasn't $69. That can't be right. Nice coin :applause:

No I made an offer for less...the seller accepted but didn't have the auction set up that way so I hit the BIN but never paid the huge sum of $69 lol lol lol

I am sure I am burried in the coin for the $55 I paid.....somehow I will get over the regret

  4. Dwaine,

I recognize the first two from Ebay.......and I also saw a lot of Dime end the other day so I assume everything is from Ebay correct? I pass over all of the old holdered stuff everyday and pick and choose what fits my collection or my type set and since I already had two Buffs in old Holders and recently purchased an 1883 V-nickel in MS64 I passed on those but you can't go wrong with them that's for sure. (thumbs u

I like the reverse on that 55 dime :headbang:......but I don't care for the cosmic toning on the 1957 dime. I wish I still had my 1964 Kennedy with the same toning....I would send it too you and you would have quite the pair :applause:

All in all I think you did well and I am looking forward to seeing the rest.......until then I will refrain from my usual threats related to board members purchasing Old Holdered coins (tsk)

......but be careful cause your treading on thin ice my friend... punish.gif
