Very nice. The obverse looks like it's made out of satin. Nice die break also.

Bob u use the the same lighting as me. OTT flip opens.
About the only only problem I have with them is the space I've got them in. I've got the copy stand and the lights between a wall and my computer. My camera is connected to the computer. It's so handy having everything close. But I think I've taken it to an extreme. I'll have to look for a longer usb and another power strip so I can move everything to the opposite side where there's more room. Good lights though. Not heavy and they rotate.

Thanks Mike. I really appreciate that. I'm using a copy stand, Canon Digital Rebel, a Canon 100mm/2.8 macro lens and 2 OTT lights. It's a lot of trial and error, but at least I'm not paying for film.
Ott light Spots
No, I have the ones that flip open. The bulb is about 6-8 inches long. Sometimes I wish I did have the spot light, but these work pretty good.

Back to the safe. Bolt it down. 800# is nothing. Two guys with the right dolly and it's out the door and in the truck.
I'd guess 63 Cameo. Nice Barber proof.
I said 63 Cameo since it looked so much like my 63 Cameo
At any rate it is definately a beauty.

Wow, what is the grade on that SLQ? Looks 70 to me.

These are both NGC PF. The dime is a 64 and he half is a 62. I don't know, there seems to be an abundance of hairlines on both coins. I've had coins come back in bb's with the same or less amount of lines. I think it just reinforces a few posts I received about the slabbers not always being so accurate. But anyway, here they are.

Not at all. NGC PF 63 CameoThe Barber quarter looks like a proof, Bob, would you mind sharing your grade with us?Edited to show holder

All these purdy coins. Need some gold for balance. Picked these up right before Christmas.
Both NGC MS-61's, both have nice toning, but you may not be able to tell from these picks too well.
I do love gold.

One of 3 from last week.

Nice coins Toyo & Clad!
The 200mm arrived today. I don't have any nice coins to take photos of at home, so this 1948 nickel saved from pocket change will have to give you a feel for the lens until more numismatically interesting subjects are available for experimentation:
How far away from that nickel did you have to get? Congrats on the new lens. We'll be waiting for some great pictures.

A Sold Out David Carr acquisition - Kinda neat
I thought David Carr was the quarterback for the Texans.
I dont understand the meaning
Sorry, my mistake.
heheh I changed to the right name on you
I don't understand what you mean.
I looked for the edited notation, but didn't see it. But darn it anyway, the quote never changed.

Great lens Mike. You're going to have to back up across the street to get a macro shot.
I love the war nickels Amanda.

I'll be checking on your photo articles so that maybe my photos will be half as good as yours.

That is one beautiful cent. Would that be a matte proof?

The Fatman has some super early commem's!!!!! I'd be proud to have any of them in my collection!!!!
I just checked out Fatmans commem collection. Wheeeew - that is quite a collection. The Dahlonegas aren't bad either. I've got one coming back in a bb any day now.
-
Boy, I'll tell ya FatMan, you sure know how to take pictures. Maybe you could hold a seminar.

Thanks Tom,
It's an NGC VF 35 BN that I found raw in a junk box at a small local antique shop.
