  1. Everyone says collect the coin . Not the holder . Than why is CAC not only stickering coins but now encapsulates coins . What about the regency holders

The plus + * star PL . Would have no meaning . But each command a higher price . And are few & far in-between . I'm lost . To much info I guess . Thank each of you for helping

  2. I just purchased this nice mercury dime in a "Doily" holder . I've been trying to find more info on it . Is it a reprint or remake ? Retro doily keeps coming up . Was heritage auctions the only one to get these ? I'm trying to find a year they were made . Any help will be appreciated . Have all these coins vanished ? They are hard to find . On eBay sold there's just not Alot of them . Is there a premium on these ?s-l960(30).thumb.webp.7af3a876859bad51533c5edec6238270.webp Thanks in advance s-l960(29).thumb.webp.9604964662ab44009f2a507bbb78936c.webp

  3. Checking my coin's  value against similar errors I came across this interesting coin . It doesn't have a grade on . And there's no mention of it . I never seen a NGC coin like this . Can someone please tell me what's going on here . And if these slabs are rare or what . I also checked NGC website , they gave no value or anything else Thanks in advance .Update- I see what he said.  Thanks

  4. I understand grading is a subjective. What coin has the best eye appeal ? Wanting a Morgan in 65 + plus is around $200 . 63 star kinda the same . PL or DMPL in 61 or 62 . It's all confusing . People say "buy the coin , Not the holder .I'm looking for the best looking obverse coin I can get for my money . Any recommendations on what grade I should get . I also understand get whatever I see is better . With all those special segregations. Plus CAC . What one designation has the best eye appeal ? Thank you in advance.

  5. I have read and understand NGC brilliant uncirculated . Today I went to my local pawn shop to find 2 BU coins , 1 a 1884 Morgan & 1921 peace dollar . They both looked awesome . Shiny ect . And I'm confused if those grades means "no details" . Those coins looked so good to me . I almost overextended myself by getting one . Can a BU ngc graded coin mean no details or is a "60" or what . Why wouldn't they just put a grade on it . No matter what ?
