Actually I found this in a 1950s vending machine along with a 1970 dime and a 48 dime and 1920 mirc dime

This looks like a potential die clash what do you think. I value your opinions. It looks like it has something imprinted on the reverse. Can't quite make it out.

Well I checked it with my 2021 and weighted it 4 times and got the same thing and did another one it was 31.34 besides I weighted a worn out penny and it was still more. In pictures. Scale appears to be working but I do agree that I do need a better one. And I weighted 1 that is in better condition.

I have to say though I am a bit confused by its color it has a gold yellow color. It basically is the color of zinc screws

I found this 1891 one cent that looks like yellow brass even though I know that it isn't. But I do know that there is zinc in them. And when I weighted it. It is lighter than even the most worn out one that is 2.87 and the one in question is 2.80. Any ideas or is this in tolerance?

You're very welcome and thank you for that. I really do appreciate the help I get from others and understanding this. You guys have been a good source of education for education for me and even have some fun doing. Which I believe is the whole point in the 1st place. I find things that I am unsure of what it is or if it's nothing. And even though it doesn't amount to anything the coin that I have I still think it's pretty cool having a coin with only 3 numbers. So I say that anyway. Just for the fun of collecting.
