Who are you fooling? You've never "blocked" anyone in your life! That's the point I was trying to get across to NN. It's a function you will never use. [You're way too happy-go-lucky and care-free. Read your posts!]

I actually have blocked quite a few people. I can't stand people, other than myself, who pontificate. The dreaded pontificator, other than myself. Which it seems most coin people are, other than myself. So when i see someone is a know nothing know it all wind bag, they're blocked. Nice thing is, i usually don't venture too far from anything i started myself, or one of my buddies is involved in. So i don't see a lot of cross talk. I seem to have invited most of my issues here, myself, so. No one to blame but myself. How many myselfs is that? Myself.

With that being said, you think I'm happy-go-lucky? Why don't you go scratch your butt with a broken coke bottle, huh buddy? Happy-go-lucky enough for you? I hear the "block" buttons being pressed en masse. lol

I truly have no idea what you are talking about.  I was telling @CoinJockey73 how to block someone.  I think you are a good hearted dude, but your posts grow increasingly bizarre and cryptic.  Does your post have anything to do with me?  Not trying to be flippant, I really have no idea what you are saying here.

I believe the first two sentences were directed towards you, but rest is in the ether. I try to just go with the flow with stuff like this, but i also like and support your approach as well. Little update on my end, i can't get to that hover function via cell phone. Going to have to get to my laptop and try from there. Laptop? Oh boy. Thanks again

Hover over their name/icon... image will expand, and "Message", "Content" and "Ignore" buttons will show.  Click "ignore" and you will be able to click the level to which you want to ignore the member.

To respond to the question:  I have blocked a few members.  I want my experience to be as nice as possible, and ignoring members who purposely detract helps my cause.

First, thank you. I will only use a burner phone with a vpn and only go through the tor network followed by a good duck duck going. I'll have to try the hover technique when i get a chance.

And, your response is spot on. I was on that other site and there were so many people who just loved reading their own voices. I ignored about half a dozen members and walla, streamline city. I plan on doing the same here. Thanks again

I was thinking of reviewing my meager U.S. holdings, but this thread vibrates at a certain frequency. And, regrettably, when it comes to taking pictures, this "smart" phone is not all its cracked up to be.  (shrug)

Very few people are aware of said "vibrations" and "frequencies". Consider yourself one of the privileged. You're now officially a member of the he-man woman haters club. I just made that up.

    STOP THE NONSENSE!!

There is no entourage or cabal out to get you and no grand conspiracy against you on this chat board. You aren't getting any kudos by constantly posting the bizarre false praise and worship comments. I consider posts like this to be insulting.  In my opinion, It's juvenile and immature.

    PLEASE STOP IT NOW!

Perfect thread for you! Why not just block him? I was able to block a few wind bags over on CT. It frees the content up something fierce. It's a great tool for weeding out the nonsense. Wish i could figure out how to use it.

No, no, no!  The aforementioned gentlemen have arrayed their respective entourage, against me!  I promised them I would vacate the premises! Please do not get me into any more trouble than I'm already in.

I didn't read any of the thread, my apologies. Can someone fill me in, please? What is this about the kabbala? I'm so lost and confused. All i want to do is block people, is that so demanding?

In deference to you and one other member who finds this thread "irritating," I am abandoning this thread forthwith. It is a rare privilege to be so honored by not one, but two highly esteemed members in the course of a day!  Rest assured, I will not coerce you, or anyone else, to scroll anymore. Wish granted!   🐓

[Gratuitous add-on: Is this place great, or what?]:roflmao:

Make that three, I'm here now! What are we a steaming? I hope broccoli. Ever a steam broccoli? That's how i imagine the halls at NGC smell.

It is absolutely NOT mispronounced croysant; how can you buy something without knowing what it is? (Let me guess, may I have (pointing) one of those, please.) In any event, a CROY-ler--is this :signofftopic: comment even permissible?--is a long thin sugary sweet with lands and grooves, on the outside. The Mexicans serve them from small carts in the subway. A croissant is a pastry fashioned in the shape of, what else, a crescent. A patisserie is simply a shop that makes cakes, cookies and bon-bon. [Your testing the patience of Moderation, and may yet get me banned!]  :baiting:

Those things the "Mexicans" serve are churros, yum. Ok. I'll back off, leave you alone. I don't want you getting in trouble.

This guy is mocking me! :roflmao: I can understand pronouncing the "r" in cruller, but in croissant? That's blasphemous! How am I to explain this to my French-speaking wife? 🤔

What's a cruller? And i specifically said it was a croy-sant, not a croissant. And please ask the Mrs to translate patisserie and croissant. I have no idea what they mean. Thank you.

Even the novice numismatist is sitting there shaking his head: "fat chance."  :roflmao: (worship)

I am the "novice numismatist". Well, not really. I don't really care. Are they that rare? I had no idea. Seems to be on every list, which is why i grasped for it. I found 3 ddr on the 1939 nickel. I never look at cents, why bother? Figured I'd give these a shot. I do always appreciate the positive vibes though.

No problem. I got that '41 Jefferson back in change at a convenience store that I frequent.

Once, a couple years back at the same store, the cashier asked if I minded getting a half dollar back in change because they were low on quarters. I said that was fine. I have no idea why I just took it and put it in my pocket without looking at the date. It wasn't until I got home that I realized it was a 1964. As I sat down I heard the ring of silver as it collided with keys and other coins in my pocket.

I went back to the store since it was so close to home and asked her if she had more halves. She said she had given the remaining 2 away as change in the time since I'd left. Darn the luck. I still wonder if the person or people who got the other ones knew or found out what they'd been given, assuming they were all '64's.

Great stories! I've only ever received one silver quarter in change. I was being over charged, at the time, and was furious i was getting 50 cents back, then i heard the clunk as it hit my other change. Turns out being over charged 50 cents made me about 6 bucks, that day. Keep all your finds coming!
