    One thing I’m doing is watching video and reading forums and information on line about the minting process. Also I’m learning about this wonderful artist name of Dan Carr. Moonlight mint. He posts now and again on the other forum. I’m too new to-this forum to know if he’s here and I lack the armor to jump in too much with that group but I do read it.All this is rather eye opening. Welcome! We’ll learn together

    Welcome I am fairly new but I recall a great piece of advice. Handle with care hold by edges and leave as is until the folks here can comment try to not add to the other problems it may have. Also never clean coins. Good luck and I look forward to seeing this wonderful journey unfold🤓

    I’m certain you can add them inexpensive. Check eBay or other sources. I have bought a few and the 99’s are reasonably priced

    I would want to buy it as a set. Now being new I’m learning to voice my opinion but be prepared for some hard fast learning. That said it’s very cool to me. There’s certain things about the 79 and or 81 type 1&2 these folks will know

    The stories I can tell of disappointment with any mint purchase lately. I hope you can return or replace. I have a number of almost 70’s where that little nic is the kiss of death grade wise. And spots don’t get me started….ok I’m good…sorry about that

    Study by my eye sez scratch here’s a couple more pictures. Just hoping it’s not terminal just trying to build a type set At $4.50 with shipping I’m guessing I’m ok that was 6months ago but looking to avoid damaged coins for the set. Not planning on sending in for grading

    These were $2-3 on eBay and advertising as plated. They look good in hand but are pretty dang small 🤓

    Well here it is. In hand just about flawless and I absolutely adore it. I am aware of lessons learned and glad it wasn’t very expensive. Solid bronze. I will maybe ask a little more before we buy🤓

    I have heard that there is a method of making a ring by tapping the edges flat drill out center. Although a dime would be fairly small also read something about that being a jail house item edge flattening with a spoon as the hammer and your guess is good as mine as to how they drilled it

    Is the burnished ase considered bullion at 138,000 + mintage its the lowest of the burnished Plus sold way different than bulk. There is a W mint mark. You all are starting to confuse me??
