    Thanks Sandon. I’ve been researching the registry and found the Collectors-society. You have to be an NGC member but you can create custom sets of pretty much everything. I understand that eventually this will be merged into the NGC registry

    It’s a beautiful coin just the same! I was looking at those last week. Rick Harrison said “ the problem with shipwreck coins is that someone may find more of them reducing value “ it appears to me that someone scraped off a label. Can you physically feel the scrape? Last week I was looking at an 1853 but so many fakes are out there. At least you know it’s real.
