Why do these look very similar but one is supposedly a proof?

Another idea I had was to make a section in this forum were we could list and image our coins that we plan on submitting to grade and have some type of check box and opinions or something along those lines, instead of people like me posting pictures every day wanting advice and opinions

It was more like a ornament rather then a crystal ball I should say . It was a round clear ball that the penny just rolled around in. And it always looked like a kind of Monopoly money or something in that manner. Even though monopoly didn’t use change, you get my point.
