I think it's been 15 months since I purchased a coin. Since I can't image coins very well, here's a link to the auction.

Nice toning on this coin.Very Nice coins all since my last.(thumbs u
For my Type Set:
Seller's image and description:
"As business strike Three Cent Nickels go, this one is quite colorfully, in fact, rather wildly toned. The hues are more vivid than seen in the image, and this is easily one of the prettiest business strikes I have seen of any date and grade."

Great coins everyone! Nice thread title too, West.

That is cool, West. I sold my MS65 blast white Morgans last year. I wouldn't mind picking up a nice MS66 Morgan sometime.I am VERY happy with this one! -
Great Lincoln and Morgan!

I asked NGC this past week. This is the reply I got.
Mike,Thanks for the question. While NGC holders are virtually airtight (and watertight), there can be some variance between individual slabs.

I just wanted to thank everyone that contributed to all of this knowledge. It is greatly appreciated (and doesn't go unnoticed) by novice collectors like myself.

Nice coins everyone. It seems like it's been forever since I purchased a coin. I removed a bunch of odds and ends from the comic room and put them on ebay. Hopefully, I will be able to purchase a nice coin next week.

What kind of tent do you have?VERY attractive looking large cent there Bob!!! Given the die crack isn't that a Randall hoard one?According to an article I read, around 14K large cents dating from 1816-1820 were found in a barrel not long after the Civil War. The majority of these were ultimately bought by John Randall at the rate of 90 cents on the dollar. Virtually all mintstate large cents that fall within those dates are from the Randall Hoard.
I'm assuming that my new pickup is part of the hoard.
Thanks for all the comments. I think these are so cool looking and am really happy to have found it. Even better that it was local and didn't have to camp out next to my mail box waiting for it.
Very nice, Bob!
