  2. I haven’t seen the results yet, other than Tom. Who decides the coin of the year? I thought that was a Stacks thing.
  3. Definitions and grades evolve over time. So the question I guess is - are you a purest? I would tend to consider defects.
  4. Have fun with it, but go quickly separating the possibles from the rest. You might miss something, but you will save a lot of time and headaches.
  5. I can answer that one if you’d like. Or we can wait for Olek to answer.
  6. Welcome to the forum. Tell us a little about yourself. Are you a collector, dealer, collector/dealer or other? Do you specialize in anything rather than Polish coins in general?
  7. Sovereigns were much more widely known throughout the world and used than U.S. or other European countries coinage. It only makes sense. Melt U.S. - mint sovereigns.
  8. Jeff looks like a happy camper organizing the so-called Kentucky Cornfield hoard. Would be fun to sit down and evaluate the hoard in person.
  9. I’d like cents to stick around. I do not collect them nor do I sell them. Here’s a novel thought - instead of inflating everything why not make them mean something. Same with nickels, dimes, quarters and half dollars for that matter. Then again - i m not crazy about the alloys used for them these days.

A Conversation with Mark Salzberg As CCG celebrates the milestone of 75 million collectibles graded, CCG Chairman and founder Mark Salzberg sat down with CCG’s Brittany McManus to share his extraordinary collecting journey and thoughts on the dynamic collectibles markets. The far-reaching conversation spans the chance encounter that piqued his interest in coins to CCG’s development as a global collectibles powerhouse. Watch the conversation here.
  11. What a find. Have to look into this further. A bit hesitant about Govmint.com though.
  12. I’ve never tried or even heard of Blanton’s. Send me a bottle please.
  13. I have never sent anything to JA, but if they paid me? I’d send everything!
