    It's a Gordian knot. That particular token was used to identify members of Skull and Bones from Yale in the 40's and 50s.. Most members are buried with their coin, George Bush Sr was the last member from that period to take his with him. If you watch any of the videos of his funeral with his son George Jr, You can see him place it in his fathers pocket.. It's a very valuable token to the right person.

    It's bullion with a dollar amount to quantify it as a coin. The value lies in the gold and the traded price of gold. if you Mar it ,it will still retain its value as gold .

    As the chart shows, Silver prices in Apr/May hit $49.00 an oz I remember because I dumped a sh1tload.. $17.00 A Half sounds reasonable for then.

    BACKINTHEDAY.... PCGS Gave new members a grading/counterfeit book and a book for inventory... Good Stuff.. I used to keep the book and my NGC coffee mug by my chair and go through it while I was going through auction archives on Heritages site.. Their board back then was full of all-stars and you could suck in all the knowledge you wanted.. I forget how much it cost... But Worth every penny.. I never even used my free submissions..

    What was done "Wrong" is not for you to say. He did Many unethical things. When called on it and exposed he did what all used car hucksters do.. He attacked and insulted and maligned.. His posts were actionable by PCGS .. He was given every opportunity to recant and work it through.. I figure he got his bagged Morgan back and is to embarrassed to "shove it in our faces"
