Hypocrisy on both the US Mint and the Grading Companies

Calling the 24th Anniversay ASE limited knowing that some of the coins were minted way before the ASE 25th case was ordered. Question if there are only two unique coins in the 25th set what is the difference from the Eagle 25th Anniversary 2011 W Eagle S$!1 and the 2011 W Eagle S$!1 Eagle 25th Anniversary Set? Now I know there are only 100,000 from the "SET" but how do we know that the coin was minted early and put into the anniversary set. I picked up my Eagle 25th Anniversary 2011 W Eagle S

Order late...Shipping Today Not to keep hitting a dead horse but I could not get onto the Mint's order page till 5:45PM (EST) and my order went through at 05:57 PM (EST). Want To File A Complaint Pertaining To The ASE 25th Order Process The Number is...

If you want to know if you order is on the wait list and the number to file a complaint read below. For those who do not know if their orders are on a wait list or not here is the answer. What is meant by the US Mint backorder and on hold process? Check your Email if You Order an ASE 25th Set

Those who have an order from the US Mint on the ASE 25th Set after 6 PM are on hold To all who got in after 6 PM you order will be on hold until the Mint digests the orders. Some orders will be kicked back for over the limit or credit card problems Others will be put on a waiting last. That happen to a friend when he order the Lincoln pennies only to see his order change from hold to cancelled. So check your orders tomorrow to see if it is on a hold or backorder. Just received my Gettyburg National Military Park American The Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncalculated Coin

To open or not. I was debating to or not to open the PBGS shipping box. To send the coin off for grading without looking at it was not at the top of my list for me. I can do without and ER label. When I open the box and looked at the coin...just one word. WOW! I wasn't going to buy this coin but when the price dropped to $229.99 I could not resist and I am glad I did. It is a beautiful coin. Only 100,000 will be avialible. The US has set a limited for the ASE 25th Anniversary Set to 100,000 at a 5 limite per house hold. Which I believe the coins will go fast if everyone orders 5 ASE it will comes to a total of 20,000. On the US Mint page, on the product index page, has the 2011 American Eagle 25th Anniversary Silver Coin Set Price: $229.95. The mint has listed the 2011 American Eagle 25th Anniversary Silver Coin Set at $229.00 2011 American Eagle 25th Anniversary Silver Coin Set is priced the same as the 5 ounce ATBs. On the US Mint's product index has the 25th priced at $229 the same as the 5 ounce ATBs. The Mint might change the price when it is on sale but I can not see them pricing it more then the 5 ounce ATBs or 5 AE coins. Picked up a1992-P Lincoln Cent NGC MS 69 RD population 6 at 69 Ultimate Lincoln or not?

Is it an Ultimate Lincoln as described in the auction I won? Just received in the mail my 1992-P Lincoln Cent NGC MS 69 RD. The coin to the necked eye looks like a 70 but I need a better glass to view it, one coming in the mail soon. Anyway, I picked up this coin for $180.00 and I did not tell my wife how much I paid for it. I believe I got a good deal on it. NGC list it in the coin price guide at $630.00 at a total grade 69 at 6. Since I am new to collecting, any of you seasoned coin veteran?

Just added a birthdate coin to my collection.

Life is grand when you find a coin. You know how some people walk down the street and see a penny on the ground and just walk over it. I pick the up to see if they are worth my efforts. Well while surfing eBay I came across a penny that had a date close to my heart. Love finding coins that were minted the year I was born. Will the 2011-P Gettysburg Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin come error free unlike the Mount Hood

Returned my Mount Hood and ordered the 2011-P Gettysburg Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin Just order the 2011-P Gettysburg Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin. I am hoping that it will come nick free. My last order (twice), from the US Mint, Mount Hood 5 ounce silver coin had nicks on them. Returned one and using the money for it to buy the Gettysburg coin. I decided to not send my 2010 to collection to NGC because of the flaw Mount Hood. So I will search and buy, when I get the funds, NGC

Received My Second ATB Mount Hood and there are marks on the Reverse. @#$%!

I can not believe it has happened again... I can not win with the Mint. This is the second coin with damage. The first was on the obverse side of the coin a small nick on the rim not noticeable if I was just showing the reverse side but not good for grading. Now I receive the second ATB Mount Hood coin it is worst than the first one. Now the marks are on the reverse side and are very noticeable. Displaying this coin I won?t. Now I have a choice to make. Send back the coin, since I have two now

US Mint Release the limit on the Mount Hood 5 Ounce ATB coin..my damage ATB is going back.

Now I can return the coin. US Mint Release the limit on the Mount Hood 5 Ounce ATB coin I previously wrote about the American The Beautiful Mount Hood 5 ounce coin that I received from the US Mint that had edge damage. And I was pondering if I should return it and take the chance of a sell out. Well the Mint released the household limite on the ATB coin and I now have one on its way to me. Update on the ding on my ATB Mount Hood

UPDATE: Should I return the Mount Hood ATB coin that has a small ding on the rim above the ?S? ? Yes is the answer.... I want to thank everyone for the response to my coin ding. I called up the Mint and a women told me to send it in for another one. But what she could not tell me is if I would receive a coin back guarantee. ASE SF should it be added to the ASE West Point coins in a collections of Anniversary PF & MS ASE? Yesterday I received my PF 70 2011 25th Anniversary American Silver Eagle and my collection is almost done. I have 1986 PF 69 and MS 69 First Year Issue ASE green label, a 2006 ASE PF 70 20th Anniversary, a 2011 ASE PCGS ER PF MS 70 25th Anniversary. To complete my set I am looking for 2006 ASE MS 70. Who owns my coin I just brought?

Coin enter is own by someone else. What to do... My surprise when I entered my 2004 JEFFERSON 5C HANDSHAKE NGC PF70 ULTRA CAM into the registry only to find that the person who sold it to me still has it up in their coin collection or the person who sold it to him has. Now I have to wait till NGC contacts the former owner and he/she releases it. Or I will be pissed off. This is the second time this has happen. Should I Send My 5 Ounce ATB's In For Grading?

I love the look of Numismatic 5oz ATB's from the Mints. Do I send them out and hope for 70's or not. I just stated to collect coins. I have four of five 2010 Numismatic collectible US Mint American the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncalculated Coins and One PCGS MS64 2010 US Mint Hot Springs Five Ounce Silver.
