Predertimed Grades?
I think you may be right about PCGS and its seemingly predetermined grades for coins. I feel the Gold 20th Anniversary AE?s got the same treatment. With those it seems that there is an inordinate lack of regular proof 70?s graded by PCGS. This can skew prices for these coins and since PCGS sells coins, you may wonder who the beneficiary is? I have been collecting for a number of years and have learned to trust the NGC and PCGS grading service. I am not really concerned with population reports and percentages because I feel that most submitters are submitting only their best coins to either of the two services.
