I BUY AND SELL ON EBAY!

Don't buy hoping that you will find an overlooked gem! Most of what I sell are NGC or PCGS graded (occasionally IGC) or government issued coins (in the goverment issue packaging). Every once in awhile I sell a "slabbed" coin that is labeled at some grade, but I do not purport to be a coin grading expert. Ultimately the US Mint is responsible... Ultimately the US Mint is responsible for the quality of coins delivered to the public. The Mint has shown that an interest in encouraging people to collect US coins as well as tp provide the currency for commerce. Presidential Coins - First Day???

Coins from the bank are a joke... Just for grins I bought two rolls this first day () of release. Coins from the bank were wrapped by in String & Son wrappers and every coin was a mess. fingerprints, nicks, damaged edges, I don't even expect BU grade. Guess I will wait for the proof sets.

the joke continues... I acquired the coins in my possession from Wachovia over the counter this morning. I watched them open the box. The rolls are wrapped in NF Stringer & Sons, Inc. wrappers... white with blue and black lettering and red and white end markings. I do my research. The rolls are in my hands. I witnessed the box opening. I can read the text on the rolls.

Sorry to break up this grouchfest... Sorry to break up this grouchfest, but does anybody know if and where the US Mint published actual production figures for various coins? I know the figures for statehood quarters are available on the website, but what about silver american eagle proofs, etc. I would like to verify how many were actually produced in the first month and over all. In addition, it might be nice to know the production number limits. The mint gives numbers on the website for some
