Mr Thompson, You can have mine Sir. Couldn't help but respond to Mr Thompson's plight regarding being unable to obtain the coveted "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE" Presidential Dollar. You are more than welcome to have mine. There on there way back to Shop at Home TV. Unless you live across the street from the mint or can circumvent the release date such as the TV show can, you cannot get First Day Issue coins. The TV show had these coins in their possession, graded by NGC, and available for sale on 0

Presidential FIRST DAY OF ISSUE

Apparently some businesses can cut in line. Follow Up to my original post, For a coin that's not being released until 02-15-07 how is it that NGC Certified these coins already 1947986-037 & 1947986-025. There already for sale on TV at an inflated price of course. These Dead Presidents really stink, I think I'll pass.

Presidential 'FIRST DAY OF ISSUE'

How is this possible? Release Date 2-15-07, NGC submission Date 2-16-07 ?? I just finished reading the NGC requirements for submitting the George Washington $1 Presidential Coin. The coin will be available for orders from the US Mint on 02-15-07 and NGC requires the coin be received at their facility by 02-16-07. How is that possible? I called the US Mint and asked them, they had No Answer. I asked the customer service rep. how the big TV Shop for Outrageously priced coins already had poss
