Can anyone tell if this pillar dollar is real or counterfeit

The coin weighs exactly 27 grams, and the obverse and reverse are in-line. I suspect it is a counterfeit, but I'm no expert.

Don't know anything about these but it also looks like it may have had some sort of antique wiping to it. Kind of like how a person would antique new wood.

Looks off, but these coins have had so much done to them that many look odd. It's very possible it is real, but environmentally damaged which is causing the odd look.

 

Send it to NCS to see what they think.

I have had quite a few of these over the years (never that date) and it looks far to good to be real, the edge is also far to sharp in my eyes..

 

The Weight should be 27.0674g

 

some thinks which seem out of place are :- the pillars are larger then normal ie. closer to letter, and the dot over MF is a lot higher than others i have seen
