Just FYI, half cents have been minted with the following die series;
Liberty Cap; 1793-1797
Draped Bust; 1800-1808
Classic Head; 1809-1836
Braided Hair: 1840-1857

Stop. Stay on topic or just stay away.

Note:  The presence of The Hand ️ suggests the member is a relative newcomer deserving of a more accommodating courteous and deferential approach.

The "member" has numerously posted incorrect information and off topic posts all over the forums as well as felt the need to push his own coins by changing the rules of this post. Check a few pages back. The "member" also seems to conveniently ignore anything said to him as a means to push his/her own agenda. Most veteran members here are not happy with the constant interferences and inaccuracies.

Once again @ldhair, you have the floor. Please continue.

It's really not that hard to understand. Please don't screw up this thread with your lack of understanding the rules of the thread.

Older classic coins are treated a bit different. Any Half Cent can follow any Half Cent. Same with Large Cents. Any Large Cent can follow any Large Cent.That all changes when you get more modern coins like the Small Cent. There you have Flying Eagle Cents, Indian Head Cents and Lincoln Cents. Each of these are a different type.

The rules are set the way they are to keep the thread from getting stuck on a coin type that few can afford to own. That's not fun for anyone.

Please, let's get this thread back to posting coins and not words.

I will take the criticism to mean that the die series no longer matters.

[The entire procedure has been etched in granite on the very first post posted on page one, back in 2006. Any deviance (including comments) are generally absolutely discouraged.  To the OP, this is a life and death matter. Violators will be reprimanded, as scores have before you with a curt Back on Track! Ten thousand posts spread over three hundred thirty [cell phone] pages spanning almost two generations.]

In the last week, there have been at least a half of a dozen violations of these rules.   I would recommend that the violators be reminded, as well as all posts in these broken series be deleted\hidden by the posters in question.
That is the end of my conversation.  (Either everyone follows the rules, or the rules are meaningless).
