Elbesaar
Thought someone would follow up my quarter with a half dollar of 1832. Love that Classic Head Cent...its a beauty.
bsshog40
Well can't match the year but can match the cent. How about a crusty old 1805 cent?
ldhair
Nice 1812 and I'll follow it with this 14. Over the life of this thread I have noticed thats it tough for most folks to contribute once we get to these early dates. If it's OK I would like to move the date up a bit. Let's start with a cent from a really cool time in coin history, 1955.
bsshog40
NIce 55 DDO Larry. Is that yours?? No dis-respect intended.
ldhair
Thanks Bobby. I picked this up 15 years ago and can still here my wife's words. "You paid that for a penny". That's not all she had to say but I'll stop there. It's 1955 on any coin or a Lincoln Wheat cent of any date. It's follow the lead.

SkyMan
Well, heck, let's throw in a 1955 Frankie proof. This one is probably the weakest Frankie in my cameo proofset, but it's still a fun coin. It's a NGC PR67Cameo.
