SkyMan
The mail just came, and I got several proofs. It's been awhile since I've bought proofs as I've mainly been buying toners lately, but these coins are Lovely. At some point in the future, the good Lord and Bob Campbell willing, there'll be images of the coins. They are: a NGC PR69UCAM 1962 Roosevelt, a NGC PR68UCAM 1960 Washington, a PCGS PR69DCAM 1968-S Kennedy, and a PCGS PR69DCAM 1970-S Kennedy. It's nice to get something cool and frosty after the heat of this week.

Elbesaar
Lee and Irwin, Nice coins - those early Lincolns are BLAZERS !! Irwin, I really like that 1919 Mercury Dime - looks like it'd slip right into my Dansco ... Here are a few odds and ends I've picked up recently, both are going into the Whitman:
James_OldeTowne
I convinced my step-father to get this for a side set we're thinking about building. It's partially just for bragging rights and as a conversation piece. It's currently the ONLY 1989 Lincoln cent to receive a STAR in any grade (God knows why). Maybe once I have it in hand I'll know why it was favored above all it's comrades. Any guesses? I'll guess it's going to be prooflike in hand. MikeInFL
Taking the risk of following IGWT's fabulous nickels, here's the latest addition to my type set: The coin is prooflike and the color a bit more subdued until you "flash" the surfaces. It looks to me a like a die that's seen a lot of wear but was lapped/polished and the polish lines and prooflike surfaces are the result. Thanks Mr. Feld. Revenant
I just sent off payment for this. Once it and the 1932 P quarter arrive, all my father and I lack is the 1932-D quarter for our mint set (we won't be buying a double eagle for some time).
