Popular Post Sandon
1950 Booker T. Washington commemorative half dollar, PCGS graded MS 65, with the usual abrasions in any grade below MS 67. The distribution of this issue was 6,004, with the odd 4 pieces undoubtedly being assay coins. This coin in this grade lists $140 on the PCGS Price Guide, $130 on the NGC Price Guide, $100 in Coin World, and only $50 in CPG. I asked the dealer who had it at a coin show this week how much he wanted for it, and he replied "$48. I don't know why it was submitted." I happily paid the $48. Now I only need one coin, the 1951-S, to complete the set. powermad5000, Henri Charriere, Mike Meenderink and 1 other
