Thanks

I just got lucky, if you surf Ebay long enough you sometimes find a bargain.

I going to post a 2005 S Lincoln Cent NCG PR69 Ultra Cameo Proof.

I don't collect these but as an investment it can be a big help, it's all about being at the rite place at the right time.

I won this for ( one cent...) NCG price $17.50

Like I said some times you just get lucky,

And on my budget if I don't get lucky I don't get the coin lol.

Hope you all enjoy the coins

Hey Bobby

Can you believe that.

I could not believe it when I won this coin.

I just put a bid in at the beginning of the bidding.

Forgot about it and got a email saying you won

But I could not remember what I bid on six days before.

What a shock when I saw it.

Gotta love it when ya win it.lol

Here's one I'll share with ya, not a U.S. coin though, I hope I don't get into any kind of trouble for this!

I hardly ever stray away from my Buffs very often, especially with world coins, but I ran across this one and I really like it . This is a 1929 German Graf Zeppelin Commemorative coin, about the size of a U.S. half dollar and I think it's way cool. Great strike and luster on this one and the color makes this coin show like a super star, at least I think so......Thanks for looking....Joe

Hey Bobby

I was just going over some past post's.

You asked me a question about a coin I posted.

Don't think you got your answer so here it is.

Its a one troy ounce reproduction of a Morgan Dollar.

And I have to tell you, when I got it I was very impressed it is beautiful

Hey guys

I know this is going to sound dumb but what is a Dansco,

From what I can tell is it an album to place coins in a year for each coin.

And that is a real nice Quarter very nice.......

Hey Alan, here is a yahoo image search page I pulled up. It has a few pics of Danscos. There are other types, for me personally tho', the Danscos just look much better.

Bobby is absolutely right Alan, Dansco is the company the makes the album (they are the market leader), they make them for many US and world series, and the advantage over whitman folders, is that you don't break your thumb trying to get the coin in the hole, and you can see both the obverse and reverse of the coin once in the album. Overall a nice way to store and display your collection.

I think I will get one next month for my Mercury's.

Got allot of the over the past wile just for the silver investment. But it seems a shame no to display them in a nice book like that.

All the Best

Hey Bobby

Since you told me about the Dansco coin holder, I got to thinking

about getting my Grand kids interested in collecting. So I thought I would start them off on Jefferson's, and I was surfing EBay tonight and found this.

Since you are the Jefferson expert and my friend I wanted to share this with you and the rest of the guys.

I swear I won 72 of these 1940 to 2009 for $ 3.50. I hope I did not pay to much

I hope you all get as much of a kick out of these as I did

$3.50 ain't bad for a bunch of Dansco starter nickels. I can't see the dates so hopefully you didn't get a bunch of duplicates. Didn't see any wartime nickels in that group, bummer. Have fun with'em!
