Buffalo Head
This has got to be the ugliest women on a coin, if you have an uglier one I would like to see it! Is this what women looked like in San Francisco 1869? I guess there wasn't any pretty girls around back then .... Anyways I bought this piece a while back and just got it graded, according to the census there's only one P/L graded higher and it's a ms 64 P/L. This is a pretty cool piece and I just thought I would show it off a bit. Thanks for any comments.....Joe
Buffalo Head
This is a piece I just love to show off. It's only a 65 but the eye appeal is just wonderful on this type one.

Elbesaar
Just picked this one up off the Bay - its in a PCGS 64 Non FH Holder. I thought it was a decent strike as most of the head detail is still there. 1930-S: Sellers images - but he stated that the coin is from a Bowers & Merena auction - and that he "borrowed" the images. I'm never very impressed with B&M's images - usually, the coin is much nicer in hand. Once my newest SLQ set is approximately 50% complete, I'll send it to a professional photographer. jackson64
BTW, does anyone know what to multiply the face value of 40% silver to get the approximate melt value? Thank you! The ASW for a 40% IKE is .3161..simply multiply .3161 x spot price = silver value ( of course mixed metal coin silver should sell for less than .999 because of the more complex process of extracting the silver from the other metals)

Elbesaar
Buffalo Head and Tejas - I really like both of those halves. I love the 1839's lightly worn patina - and I have always wanted the "right" looking 1812 CBH. Nice coins, guys !!
