Elbesaar
I love that 1898 V Nickel, "Old Pueblo". I have put together a respectable set of 1898 coins - and its still a work in progress.

kryptonitecomics
Nice pickup Shane. Ps 64++ I think it would get the gold bean if submitted to CAC but the real value is in the holder anyway
Elbesaar
Shane - that is a very nice Morgan - but is the holder a tough one to locate ? I know the Black Insert Holders are very scarce - but is this a tough to locate holder as well ?
kryptonitecomics
Shane - that is a very nice Morgan - but is the holder a tough one to locate ? I know the Black Insert Holders are very scarce - but is this a tough to locate holder as well ? There are quite a few that believe it's rarity is on par with that of the black slab but becuase the insert is white and the scarcity is only now become realized over the past couple of years....the demand hasn't driven the price up to the levels of the NGC 1.0. You can still find the NGC 2.0 with relative ease...but the 2.1 is a tough bird for sure and I paid $200 for this one.

SkyMan
Nice looking coins everyone! I find the history behind the different slabs somewhat interesting, but paying extra money for a slab strikes me as crazy. Of course, I'm sure some of what I pay for some of what I collect would strike other people as nuts too.
adm-migration
IGWT, that is a terrific example of the 1872 5c. I love Frank Gasparro's Liberty design, it is unfortunate politics kept it from appearing on the small dollar like he hoped... his rendition for the 1969 ANA medal is the next best thing. Purchased last week from the original owner/convention attendee. Name and address blurred for his privacy.
