You guys sure can pick 'em!! Haven't got this in hand yet. I think I said in my last post I've been on an upgrading/updating spree. Out with some old,in with better coins. 1881 RB proof Indian cent with a bit of toning. My other favorite series besides Morgans.

Very Nice Coins Everyone. I'm kind of in a self imposed coin buying exile... but it's hard not to purchase. In order to help ease the withdrawl symptoms I couldn't pass up a pretty AND inexpensive one that Leeg put up for sale. (His Pics)

OK... the Frankie arrived from LeeG (Thanks) and from the responses I'm going to guess that PCcoins also might have owned this coin at one time. One of the main reasons I bought it was to try my hand at photographing Mint Set Toners which I'd never done before. I found that they are somewhat challenging but rewarding. Here's my shots... comments good or constructive welcome. Thanks again Lee.

Yep, that's a nice '58 Frankie ;)

... and I do like your images! :applause: They show the luster well and the toning somewhat, and if you add more light the toning will show more! But then you lose the luster. So I think the balance between the two in this image is almost even, maybe add a little more light and presto! :acclaim:

Bob, once I get these they may be coming your way. I am going to try to photograph them first. Can't wait for these to get here.

Thanks, now I just have to be patient for them to be shipped. I expect they will be shipped Tuesday and I should get them Wednesday or Thursday.
