We buy for our own satisfaction, not competition. (thumbs u I don't care if things I buy are cheap and commen, it is still considered a "Recent Acquisition".

Wow, sorry Lee. This is my series, and I feel a little embarrassed. From the first pics it looks like there is some rub in the hair by the ear. I guess it is true that you can't grade coins accurately from pictures. That is an amazing coin and would love to see it in hand. Congrats! :acclaim:

 

Don't feel sorry... I thought the same thing of the 35 D. Must look different in hand than that first image. I think I collected a few Washingtons in my time. :)

Nice 2 cent, what does it grade? I have a PCGS MS64RB 1864LL and yours is a touch nicer than mine.

I also like that Flowing Hair as well as the 2 cent piece . Where did you get it and what is the grade of the 1795 ?
