Thanks for the nice comments. Bobby, the initial goal wasn't necessarily targeted at 67, but I was lucky enough to pick up the toughest one first at that grade. My figuring from there was, since I picked up the toughest (1916) in 67, the rest would be downhill. As it turned out the last one was the toughest. :grin:

I bought this raw and sent it into NGC to slab and it came back in the old style slab? I thought it would be in the new Edgeview slabs....go figure.

I guess NGC still has some old style cores laying around.
Or maybe they recognized what a terribly bad idea it was and went back to the old holders to please their customers.

 

 

I think they just have some extra slabs laying around!!

I called NGC and they confirmed that they are still phasing out the old style cores. Thanks for the nice comments on my new addition everyone.

 

Yeah I bet they do use the Half-Cent holders everyday!!
