l.cutler
From what I can see it just looks damaged, but we really need to see clear pictures of the actual coin, not the scope screen. The pixelated screen shots just don't show the detail. JT2
J P M
Yes, the picture from your phone will be better than a picture of the scope. and remove the coin from the 2X2 it will distort the shot. powermad5000
Greenstang
No screen shots please and crop your photos. We need to see all the detail.
Popular Post Sandon
Welcome to the NGC chat board. Yes, we need much better images of this coin to render an opinion. Please try to provide cropped, clearer images like these: Preliminarily, please bear in mind that because something about a coin looks unusual, that does not mean that it is a "mint error"! The vast majority of coins that we see on this forum that are claimed to be "mint errors" are coins that were damaged after they left the mint or exhibit minor anomalies that are common and to be expected on coins that are mass produced for circulation. VKurtB
Whoever convinced so many collectors to have and use digital microscopes deserves to be drawn and quartered. powermad5000
RWB
If the "flow lines" are real, then possibly acid damage. Not an error. Certainly did not come from a US Mint looking like that. Worthless.
