Hello everyone.

This 2003 D Dime has an odd cut, I ws wondering if it was PMD? the edges are not a straight cut like if it was done by tin snips or some other hand cutting device.

Any thoughts?

May have been caught in a coin counting machine, or some other type of machinery, did not leave the mint in that condition thus PMD.

Definitely PMD. There is all kinds of damage on that. However it happened, it was not done by hand. It took a lot of force to be able to actually deform the shape and make it out of round.

I would say it got into some type of machinery to be able to do that. What machinery I do not know.
