Does NGC consider a bent coin to be damaged?

Does NGC consider a bent coin to be damaged. I believe the label may call the coin Bent but they don't feel the need to call it damaged as well and I agree that there is no need. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello @ldhair, damaged and bent are two subcategories under our NGC Details grading. A coin can be both damaged and bent. You may find more about these designations and how we define them here: NGC Details Description Glossary | NGC.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

I could have answered this for you @ldhair. Here is one I submitted long ago, but I never thought it was going to get a bent designation. NGC will usually describe all the issues that give a coin a details grade on the label in the slab, but usually two issues is normal. I have rarely seen a slab with three issues for details. The one I remember was bent, whizzed, and filled. Talk about a coin with a rough past!
