Sandon
This 1946 Lincoln cent is corroded and has no collector value. It's what we call a "cull". If you seriously thought that this is a mint error, you have a great deal to learn. Resources such as error-ref.com have already been suggested in your previous posts. I can suggest additional resources if you are interested in learning from legitimate sources. Teddy R and EagleRJO
Fenntucky Mike
Quote amzing wild wheat cent.opinions please... You're pulling my leg, right? My opinion is that you should stop looking for errors immediately. Your time would be better spent learning from some of the various links and resources already mentioned. The coin in the OP is a spender, if anyone will take it. Sandon and GBrad
Popular Post The Neophyte Numismatist
Like all things that live an amazingly wild life, they look amazingly rough. Keith Richards. Rough. Axl Rose. Rough Your Coin. Rough Unlike rockstars, coins lose their value when they live an amazingly wild life. As such, your coin is now worth its weight in copper. No numismatic value. Edit note: I looked at your other posts and they are all the same; damaged coins that you think are errors. If you are new to coins, I suggest you give up on starting with errors. Your collection will be littered with trash, you will get frustrated and give up. Concurrently, you will frustrate the network of savvy collectors who are willing to help you with repeated variations of the same question. Pick a series - learn the issues of that series, wear patterns, what they look like graded (even if you are collecting from circulation). Train your eyes. If you are not new to coins - knock it off. Not enough time left in the world to adequately answer that question. One day, same day I win the lottery, someone will post a coin that just so happens to have a "unicorn" error/variety.
