Ky tokens 1 1

Here lately I took an intrest in collecting mine scrip tokens. I will collect from any state but Im mostly interested in Kentucky. Ive found out there are some from my hometown I was raised in, Olive Hill Ky.  I started this post because I know there are many token collectors on here and figured it wouldnt hurt to ask. There are 3 little towns Im very interested in any type of token wether its mine scrip, store tokens, wooden nickels, etc. If anyone has any tokens from Grahn, Olive Hill, or Morehead Ky, and you are interested in selling or trading please give me a message. Espically Grahn or Olive Hill. I found one in an Ebay auction from a company my pawpaw worked for in Olive Hill. Im gonna try my best to get the winning bid. Its very cool to see it on there. General Refractories Co of Olive Hill Ky. If anyone ever comes accross any of those give me a message. Im still planning on collecting other mine scrip tokens from Ky. Its very cool where I get to work all over Ky and see the little towns those tokens come from. Thank you everyone.

Don't have any from those towns but I'll keep an eye out for them. I'll let you know if I run across any.

You think there are a lot from Kentucky, the Coal Scrip catalog (Edkins) comes in two volumes that are about the same size.  One volume is West Virginia, the other volume is the rest of the country.

West Virgina and Eastern Ky are completely full of coal mines. Theres hundreds of them. We was working in Knott county today and there were trucks loaded down with coal passing by all day today.

I will check out some of the local shops but being on the east coast it is not likely there will be any.
