OlBandit
Hello, just looking over some of my proof coin sets and I stumbled across this 1999 S Mint Proof Set and I noticed that the Georgia Quarter in the Sealed Case is backwards from the other coins. I've uploaded a picture of it, could it be considered a Mint Error? Thanks Bill
Administrator CrystalM CS Posted August 27 Administrator Share Posted August 27 Hello, unfortunately, this is not considered a mint error at this time. Mint Errors are when the coins themselves have errors from the mint, not just the packaging of the coins. You can read more about what a mint error is in the below article. Thank you. https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/7765/learn-grading-mint-errors-part-1/
