Ask yourself, how much do you think that coin is worth and do you think it is worth
enough to spend 55-60 dollars getting it grade. I don’t, it is a minor error worth a couple of dollars.

NGC probably wouldn't attribute this coin as a mint error because of the die break. NGC has stated that, "NGC does not recognize as mint error coins those with minor die chips, breaks and rotations, etc., that fall within our interpretation of mint tolerance. The determination of what constitutes a mint error is at the discretion of NGC."  Variety vs. Mint Error | NGC (ngccoin.com). It wouldn't be worth the grading, attribution, processing and shipping costs ($37 in grading and attribution fees alone) in any case.

The coin is still an interesting find that you might want to keep as a conversation piece, even though it probably isn't worth more than a few dollars.

If it were mine I would store it in a coin flip. Its a neat find but I wouldnt waste the money grading it. It runs into quite a bit of money after paying for shipping and all the other fees on top of the grading fee. Its close to $100 to have one graded and its only worth a couple dollars or so.

I own an 1883 Liberty Nickel that has so many die cracks it looks like the entire die was about to shatter a strike or two away from this coin being struck. It was not attributed as a mint error. I thought it might due to the amount of cracks on both sides of the coin but it was still considered "too minor". Your coin would receive the same treatment. It's worth keeping for an album or in a flip as a conversation piece, but I would not submit this coin.
