This auction of over 260 lots features a broad offering to include Ancient Greek, Roman and Byzantine material, Colonial Currency notes, scarce high-grade foreign coins including one of 40 known 1791 Sierra Leone proof dollars, and a massive collection of nearly 360 MS65 and higher graded Franklin half dollars, nearly all with toning. Approximately 95% of this collection comes from a single owner, and many have purchase provenance from fine auctions in the late 1970’s and 1980’s- Stack’s, Steve Ivy, and many other reputable firms.
