I received these two quarters in change yesterday. I was startled at the proof like appearance.

Oh my doodness, the ‘U’ in Angelou has a serif on it and the ones in ‘UNUM’ do not!!! What kind of mint error do I have??? /sarcasm.

I just got my first one in change a few days ago. Just now realized that the 2s are a little different from last year.

In all seriousness, my proof set is on the way. I buy one on subscription to break up and put the coins in my Dansco albums. I’ll be looking over the quarters for design choices.

I realized that the quarter has to U’s with serifs and 6 without.
