Popular Post J P M
Another batch of slot filler FS Nickels came in today for the registry set . I have been getting three at a time lately. Not sure why it just kinda works out that way. I get my two hundred nickel coin set built a little at a time. My wife don't seam to mind to much because luckily I am getting three graded coins for under twenty bucks or less on average date ones. I love the different tone colors you can find if you shop around. Most of the time you don't see it until you put them in a lineup. Rummy13
You keep this up and everyone will start giving you nicknames. Very nice pick-up good luck in getting all of them. I like to see what others save, and your pics are always so good. tj96 and Lem E
Popular Post The Neophyte Numismatist
Very nice. I like nickels, and you are putting together a very nice set. As you already mentioned, it's a behemoth of a set (1938-present). One day I may go after a short set, but I don't have the guts to tackle it all. Strong work. J P M
Ya I figure you guys will all bark at me for posting them after a while. I think everyone likes a deal when it comes to spending between three to ten dollar for FS coins , or any coins nowadays, LOL On 3/12/2022 at 10:06 AM, Rummy13 said: You keep this up and everyone will start giving you nicknames. Although the deals are not as common as they were 6 months ago and hardly ever for pre-1964 coins or SMS Nickels. My set will never be as nice some of the other guys or Lem's that is one amazing nickel set. Mine will be a middle of the road set If I can keep getting the good $$ deals. Man, as long as you like it and it makes you happy, that all that counts. That how I feel about colleting. Some people will never collect copper others will never get ASE, some are all over the place, it don't matter as long as that's what they like. I'm not saying that I would not like to have high end graded coins, but that is not really excites me. Find a nice filler coin for one of my albums, that puts a smile on my face for a week. Popular Post Lem E
I really like the all over gold toners like your 91D. Another very nice trio for your set. If you add in the proofs, the set is 297 coins and counting. Quite an undertaking to complete. Keep up the good work buddy. I peek in on your set now and again. The set is looking great! J P M
Thanks for asking tj96, You made me look again . Sorry guys after looking at the first shot I posted of the coins the 91-D is not half as toned as it looks. the 92-D is more toned. The phone camera is lying it is picking up a reflection somewhere. I think from the florescent desk light ? it has been raining here and I normally I take my shots in natural light. I took another shot near a led light that is a white light and the toning is almost gone. So I will post the single shots they are more realistic not as good as natural light. So there goes my (Nice pictures JP) credibility out the window. Edited March 12, 2022 by J P Mashoke The Neophyte Numismatist and tj96

tj96
You may have already posted them somewhere, not sure. How about the 2009-P & D? What's your grade on those?
J P M
I do not have a 2009 P or D as of yet or the 2009 SMS P + D all those years are double coins from 2005 to 2010 Four coins per year? Actually 2005 has ten Nickels for that year if you include the proofs. Here is the registry set page. It shows all the doubles way to many. https://www.ngccoin.com/registry/competitive-sets/374476/?page=
