Ali -

Would you consider adding a new Great Britain set to cover the Commonwealth period from 1649-1660? A non-gold set would include the following denominations (all silver):

Commonwealth 1/2 penny

Commonwealth penny

Commonwealth 2 pence

Commonwelth 6 pence

Commonwealth shilling

Commonwealth 1/2 crown

Commonwealth crown

Cromwell shilling

Cromwell 1/2 crown

Cromwell crown

There was a Cromwell silver 6 pence and a copper farthing issued but both are very scarce and seldom appear on the commercial market. Perhaps they could be "display only" slots?

My current coins for this set are: 6320377-006, -007, -008, 3827627-012, 2832291-004, 3807954-009.

Thank you for your interest. Due to their unique nature, rarity, and highly subjective value, ancients are not eligible in the competitive NGC Registry. These coins are best represented as part of custom seta at Collectors-Society.com.

Many collectors assemble their own sets in unique ways. In fact, s/he may be the only collector ever to assemble a set in exactly that way. Or coins may be so rare that a competition with others is not feasible. So, instead of leaving those unique sets out of the NGC Registry concept, we've created Custom Sets.
