Since I can't find that stinking close AM , what about this between the ME in America. What kind of error would this be. There's something funny going on at the mint lol. Any help would be appreciated thanks. Joe

I agree with Woods. I'm thinking you have some die deterioration there.  It's interesting looking die deterioration for sure, though!

Definitely die deterioration issues.  You can see the same effect on the A and C of AMERICA and also inside the top of the O in ONE. Look close enough and I believe a ridge ring is starting to develop on the reverse in the vicinity of AMERICA which is a sure fire sign of a worn out die.  Pretty neat example though.
