GBrad Posted January 5, 2022 Share Posted January 5, 2022 Definitely die deterioration issues. You can see the same effect on the A and C of AMERICA and also inside the top of the O in ONE. Look close enough and I believe a ridge ring is starting to develop on the reverse in the vicinity of AMERICA which is a sure fire sign of a worn out die. Pretty neat example though.
