Clay1492
I,m guessing this is machine doubling because I can't find a listing for a 58d ddo, but thought I would ask. Also, is that a normal die clash in front of and behind the bust? Also on the neck. Thanks
J P M
I don't see anything but a shadow, Sorry but I do find it strange that your camera reversed the date on the first shot it looks incuse. I have seen the new phone cameras doing this a few times? Fenntucky Mike

LOL! I thought the exact same thing there for a minute JP but the numbers are raised, it's like one of those 3D puzzles. I replied to the duplicate post. Merry Christmas! Hoghead515
I agree that is just strike doubling. But I think that just may be a clash. I see what you are seeing. I may be wrong but it sure looks like a minor clash. Some better pics would be great to tell for sure.
Oldhoopster
I don't think there is anything that resembles clash, but it's tough to tell from the pics. Here is the overlay from Maddie Clashes if you want to do some more checking, especially in the field in front of the nose. Not seeing any DDO either. What doubling I see is flat with no notching/split serifs, which are characteristics of Mechanical Doubling. IGWT is too fuzzy, but if there is flat doubling, it's MD Hoghead515

Those were the old "Flexi-Date" test coins. They automatically shifted from raised to incuse lettering in an attempt to reduce circulation wear. But -- the battery was bigger than the coin.... Hoghead515
That first picture will sure play tricks on the eyes. Had to look at it for a few.
