Opinions on this coin for sale on a hobby website… 0

Just wanted to get a few opinions on whether this coin appears authentic.  I questioned its authenticity due to missing detail, absence of marks, and odd color. The seller claims it’s real because he bought it online from a coin dealer (really?).  Not interested in buying it but wanted to get expert opinions.

This guy was selling it on a radio control website classifieds forum and I tried to warn him that he was selling counterfeit coins.  He replied on the website that he knows that they are real because the place he bought them from told him they were authentic. LOL

 He was asking $870 for this fake coin and after I told him it was fake he closed the ad stating that it was sold…

You just can’t help some people….and probably shouldn’t even try.  Lesson learned.
