1976 D Washington quarter. Completely filled in D and supposed to be some doubling?

Filled D mintmarks aren't unusual on coins from the 70's. The inside post was very small and had a tendency to break off.  Save it if you find it interesting, but it would be very difficult to find somebody who would offer more than 25 cents for it.

I don't see any indication of doubling

When you say “supposed to be some doubling” what do you mean?

It was what the seller was saying in his ebay ad.

Rare 1776-1976 D Circulated Bicentennial Quarter~Completely Filled “D”& Doubling

I didn't pay much for it, so its no big deal but I think he was referring to the IN GOD WE TRUST looking like slight doubling. I see an coin ejector scratch (I think that is what it is called.)
