This is the peace dollar i bought recently and was wondering if it was worth being slabbed. I dont know why the image is sooo big .

Looks like a 64.

Maybe it's the lighting, but the surfaces appear to be quite dull/lifeless.

If the coin has average luster, it looks like an MS64, but if not, MS63 or lower.

Looks like a 65 but for the marks between the rays on the reverse, so I'll say 64.

I would say that it would definitely make MS-63 and would have a good shot at MS-64. Given Gray Sheet values of $300 and $450 respectively, it's probably worth a shot.

Easy 64 if it's original. Pictures make it tough to tell.

According to the pictures that looks like a solid 64 and definitely worth grading.

I'm strict so I give it a 63, but sometimes big enlargments make the marks stand out and look worse than in hand. The luster looks untouched so I would give it a shot unless you can find an expert to look at it under a glass, then I would defer to him/her...

I think its worth sending.. Could make a 64.

 

It does have a hit on the nose and the dig in the reverse, might come back 63 (It could be the super size PICS making say that)
