Don't even waste your time looking for strike designations on PCGS coins. Their "standards" are vastly inferior. It isn't worth the effort.

NGC has much more strict criteria for FT/FB designation. I look closer when acquiring FB from PCGS. I am a dime guy and have been burned once or twice

A good lawyer could make an argument for them, that for the year and mint it is above average. Or that after the coin got in the holder something changed, "migration of molecules" somehow filling in a gap or two? Shameful...I've stayed away from PCGS FB, FS, FBL labeld coins because of their apparent loose standards. I agree with Davids5104, NGC definitely has stricter criteria and has my vote of confidence.

I agree that they might be nicer in hand. That said, the bands might also be missing. The picture is not sharp enough to see what's actually there.
