Grade revealed-1934 D Washington Quarter - GTG.

The lines in the field in front of Washington's Adam's apple and in the opposite field behind Washington's ponytail are raised impressions and not contact marks. There is another such impression in the field to the lift of the eagle's head. All opinions are welcome.

the marks that you describe are from clashed dies. The coin is clean enough that it might grade MS64 or 65 but if it is dull (it appears to have subdued luster in the pic) it could take a two or three point hit at the grading services imho...
