I needed a 1909s VDB to complete my Wheat Set. This one was about the best I could do with my budget. Did I do ok?

You did okay, particularly for eBay. The color looks good, no major distracting contact marks, nice strike, and AU+ for sure. The price is retail for a 55 these days and since it appears you got a good one, nothing at all wrong with that.

Looks pretty good. My examples are either missing the VDB on the reverse or the S on the obverse. Plus that red dot on the holder makes it extra special! Seriously, nice pick-up.
