1882 CC GSA Morgan

Good evening everyone. I know the pictures are not that great, but any ideas of what this Morgan might grade would be greatly appreciated.

I would grade it as a marginal MS-64. It's the kind of MS-64 that could be improved upon with not that much trouble so it would bring weak MS-64 money (Gray Sheet bid) from knowledgeable buyers.

Thinking more in the 63 range. 64 just might be a stretch. But she is a Vam 3D with the die crack across the top of her cap thru the LIBERTY band and down her forehead.

 

You will find this coin has numerous clashed on both obverse and reverse. I have 4 and they all show some really neat and distinct markings.

I'd say upper end 63, boarder line 64. It's one of those tough ones where the reverse is a 64 and the obverse looks more like a 63.

 

Still a nice clashed CC.
