The JNS Coin Collection
Can you advise how i can include my 2014 ASE with MLB WORLD SERIES Labels. Is it necessary to make a new set for MLB world series or an insertion to normal bullion with special pedigrees. Hoping to hear further information. NGC Cert 3972307-083 & 3972575290 Thanks. Ian Yan
Hi, I would recommend to have a new competitive set to capture 1981 Singapore Silver Proof coins consist of S1C, S5C, S10C, S50C and S$1. The other years 1967-1984 for this first series circulated coins are non silver, non proof which each denomination has its competitive set . NOSAMDC
I respectfully request a category to display my 1724 Madrid Spain 2 Reales (Louis I) Ludovicus I NGC AU58 4447244-001. Since his 9 month rein was both preceded and followed by Philippus V (his father), this could conceivably be a subset category of 2 Reales of Philip V 1700-1746. Our Senior team has determined this set structure does not meet the minimum requirements for a competitive NGC Registry set. I'm genuinely curious, what are the minimum requirements (knowing that guidelines are only that)? I've been noodling around some ideas in my own favorite areas, but some of the 'series' are very short lived (like maybe two or three years), but are still an important part of an overall coinage of a particular country. Also, I'm beginning to dismantle a few of my Britannia sets. The registry is currently set up by denomination for these. Any chance there could be year sets in addition to the denomination sets? I'm not likely to ever get rid of my 1997 set for example, and it would be nice to have that as an official registry without having to have a one coin in 4 different sets. In my case it's more natural to collect by year, not by denomination, which makes me want to see the registry offered that way too :). I do have the custom set already, but 'official' would be nice too. https://coins.www.collectors-society.com/WCM/CoinCustomSetView.aspx?s=18261

Each set request is considered by our senior team on a case-by-case basis. Many factors come into consideration, including mintage, population, availability in the marketplace, the number of coins involved in a series, etc. In most cases, we try to avoid two-coin sets, although there are some exceptions, also. Britannia sets by year aren't something we would create at this point. Thank you and let us know when we may assist next.
