1884 CC What grade? proof like ?

Breast feathers have more detail, angle of light and my cheap camara make it appear dull in detail. I'm not sure if I want to send her in. Miss morgan is in a GSA holder. I grade MS 63 PL but I'm new.

PL is a tough call from the pictures but it looks like it could be.

 

63 easy from what can be seen and 64 wouldn't surprise me given the good strike and excellent luster.

You can see my camara's reflection in front of Liberty's face, very hard to photo the mirror like surfaces.

Anyone have a link to a site or artical that explians proof like morgans. I used http://www.coingrading.com/plcoins1.html And I could read all the levels or prooflikeness. Going to get some local dealers thoughts on it monday. The pictures do not show the mirror like surfaces well.

What's it worth if a 63?. I just found one in a box almost exactly like it. It's in a GSA Holder ungraded but is marked MS63. I bought it several years ago.

I suck at grading but here is a ms64 PL to compare it too.

I grade it 62, with a shot at PL. This coin is not worth the cost of submission, just keep it raw.

I agree, the coin in question won't grade high enough to warrant the costs of submission.

I grade it MS63, no PL and like they said not worth submitting. It would go for about the same price raw as it would graded.
