Bought a complete set of nice franklins a while back and just now finally had the chance to look them over... Here's first, 1948P. All opinions are greatly appreciated!

looks unusually marked up for a franklin, i am not an expert nor do i know much on full bell lines, but i do not think this one would qualify for a FBL designation, overall i say MS62

This isn't my usual series either, but I would grade it MS64. If the contact mark on the reverse of the bells doesn't interrupt the lower set of bell lines, I think the coin would get a FBL designation at PCGS (which only requires the bottom bell lines be complete); however, the upper bell lines are weaker. Since NGC requires all the bell lines to be complete (i.e. upper and lower), I don't think you would get a FBL designation from NGC.

That seems consistent with a 64FBL. The obverse is pretty clean, but those gashes on the bell are going to bring the grade down. FBL's are far more common on this date, being the first date of issue.
