1820 isn't an odd date. ;)

 

1 + 8 + 2 + 0 = 11

Thanks, Sy! I sort of figured that. I have the same medal in silver, too, but the bronze just seems more apprealing.

Very nice coins and medal one and all....... the clashing on the 1817 CBH caught my eye, then the drawn stars on the obverse..... now, I realize that the serifs on the reverse "I"s are supposed to be missing on this 103a, but the "D" in UNITED appears to be open at the bottom with a corresponding missing serif...... is this so?

 

I couldn't help but notice that dash under the second '8' on your 1885 Morgan acan..... I think that it is what vammers would call vam-7.... Have you entertained any notions as to the cause of the dash?
